Perfect match for a weekend in Portsmouth with value for price. The room was cold, and I needed a heater. Bring extra layers if you're sensitive to cold rooms.

Nice stay with a few hiccups
Had a good time overall. The room was lovely and clean with great sea views. Staff were super nice at check-in. But the shower was a disaster—only boiling water and it took forever to get sorted. One morning, the bathroom flooded too. Not ideal! The breakfast was tasty, though.

Exceptional sea views, Cozy coffee lounge, Kitchenette facilities in rooms
Limited parking availability!!! Lack of lifts makes lugging bags a real chore!!! Shower controls fumble a lot!!! Wi-Fi connectivity can vanish at times, making it quite frustrating!!! Noise from nearby common areas interrupts relaxation!!!

Request a larger fan if you're in a hot room. the small one may not provide sufficient cooling for comfort.

The hotel had a lovely sea view and a very clean, modern room. Staff were friendly, but there were a few issues, like a non-functioning shower and a flooded bathroom that caused some inconvenience. It’s a great spot, just needs better maintenance.

Breakfasts at Farm Kitchen offer a solid start to the day. The sea view from the King Room adds a nice touch, immersing you in the surroundings.
Elevating luggage to the second floor is quite a workout, especially without a lift. The shower setup needs some serious re-thinking. no grab rail makes it risky, and the controls are tricky to navigate without guidance. The water temperature can be scalding, which could catch you off guard. Plus, a simple courtesy like bottled water would elevate the refreshment options. Lastly, the handrail outside is pretty wobbly, making it less reliable when tackling those steps.

The room was beautifully decorated, with thoughtful touches making it feel cozy and welcoming, even for a grandparent like me. The view of the park was delightful, adding a serene touch to our stay.
A rail in the shower would improve safety.
